My Obsession with Davines Products
Hair care is one of those small, unglamorous rituals that quietly became part of feeling like myself again — one more piece of remembering what makes an ordinary Tuesday feel a little more like me. A few years ago, I switched my whole haircare routine over to Davines, my hair stylist was using the products in her salon, and I've never looked back. This is the full lineup, start to finish — what I actually reach for, in the order I use it, plus the one swap I make when I want to give my blonde a little boost. This is a bit of a splurge, but I promise you it is totally worth it.
The Shampoo & Conditioner
This is where the obsession starts. The OI shampoo is genuinely divine — it comes in a few different sizes through the link if you want to start small — and I love how it makes my hair feel almost as much as I love how it smells. This is a "you will get stopped on the street" kind of scent, not an exaggeration. I follow it every time with the matching conditioner, which leaves my hair so soft and so much easier to style that the two never get separated in my routine.

The Leave-In Milk
Once my hair is towel dried, this is the next step. A few sprays help with tangles and smooths everything out when I blow dry. It's also become my go-to touch-up on no-wash days — just a light mist, and never on the roots — to soften second-day hair without weighing it down and I like the refresh of the amazing smell.

The Finishing Oil — And My Blonde-Hair Alternate
Once my hair is fully dry, one tiny pump of the oil, rubbed between my hands and worked over the ends only (roots stay untouched), controls frizz and flyway’s even in the most humid climates I've thrown at it. If you have blonde hair, this smoothing cream is my other go-to — I typically dry most of the moisture out of my hair with a flat brush then add this before I section off for the finishing dry with a round brush.

If You Go With LOVE
If you are blonde and you prefer the purple shampoo and conditioner you want to try the LOVE line instead of OI, this is the shampoo-and-conditioner duo I pair together. Same story — a beautiful scent, genuinely hydrating — and it delivers a smooth, low-frizz finish on its own. Pair it with the Milk and the Oil noted above; the routine still holds together either way.

The Refill and the Travel Size
Most Davines products come with a refill option, and this is the one I buy — one of these typically lasts me about a year, which makes the per-use cost feel a lot more reasonable than the bottle price suggests. And if you're not ready to invest in a higher-end hair product but want to try before you commit, the travel size is the perfect low-pressure way to see if it's worth it for you.

Underneath every title I've ever held, I'm still the woman who really appreciates a product that makes me feel special even on an ordinary day. Maybe that's exactly the point.
