Framing the Memories

I recently moved into a new house, and if you're anything like me, the box of framed photos is always the last one to open — framed photos feel like the final decorating touch and a walk down memory lane. When I finally got to that box, I found pictures of women from my village going back years — women who influenced me in ways I didn't fully understand until much later. In the new house, I wanted to celebrate those women, from the friends who've been with me since the beginning to the ones standing beside me right now. I went looking for frames that came in enough sizes to fit any room in the house, but similar enough to feel an intentional design choice.   I found three I'm completely in love with — I have about a dozen of them scattered through the house now, in a mix of sizes, holding women from every chapter of my village as well as favorite family memories. I wanted to share because this ceramic style feels very high end—with a budget friendly price tag.

Picture Frames

All three of these are in my house right now in various sizes.  I have 5 of the white enamel with gold edge on my family room shelves.  I have three of the blue enamel with silver trim on my bathroom vanity.  And I have two of the white in my home office.   Each frame is available in a range of sizes, from a compact 4x6 up through an 8x10, so a single style is so versatile you can add it to any room in your house.   They all share the same bones — enamel finish, a metal edge, a glass front, and a sturdy easel back that lets a frame stand up on a shelf or hang flat against a wall.  If you're starting your own village gallery or just want a more polished look to show off those family photos, I'd pick whichever finish matches your room and just buy a few sizes of it, rather than overthinking which exact frame goes with which photo.
